Description: Our Dried Kidney beans need soaking in water before cooking, they are delicious mixed into a chilli con carne, stew or veggie salad. If comparing to previously using canned beans 200g dried kidney beans will give you about 400g cooked.
Cooking instructions: Soak the beans overnight in cold water. After soaking, replace water and bring to a rapid boil in a large pan, for 10 minutes before simmering for approx 45mins or until soft. At this point, they can be frozen in batches with some of the cooking water, or used straight away.
