Description: This puy style of lentil is smaller, more flavoursome and remains firmer than regular green lentils. They are delicious in salads, stews, casseroles and also as an alternative to rice or potatoes.
Weight from: 500g
Cooking instructions: We recommend around 60g per person. NO soaking required. Simply give them a good wash and place in a saucepan with clean cold water covering by 3cm, then bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for around 20 mins - or alternatively, just add dry to a stew and simmer until soft.
The weight of dried, uncooked Puy lentils will be the equivalent to roughly double its weight of cooked lentils. If, for example a recipe uses 250g of cooked lentils, you will need 125 of dried lentils.
